Hmm. I wonder what he thinks of 4e, too.

Not in California. It's illegal to have naken women and alcohol in the same
establishment. I expect it cuts down on the worker's comp premiums, too.

Yeah, that's right. Only tittie bars can have alcohol here.

If anyone here is good at writing business proposals, I'm all
in favor of this venture... Wink

Yeah, that would place Seebs online years before the Great
Renaming. I'd been introduced to Usenet by around 86, but
didn't start regularly reading and posting until after the GR,
either 88 or 89...

I was utterly confused by the Great Renaming. I couldn't find ANYTHING. I
used to be active (I don't think I had posting privileges) on the Dr. Who
newsgroup, and then I was away for a while, and I came back, and I couldn't
find any of the groups. I think they had names like "news.*" -- I don't have
any files from back then, because I hadn't yet learned about backups.

Sorry, but I would not touch that business with a ten foot pole. It sounds
like a great way to lose money and go crazy.

I may not have been online as long as y'all, but I've been playing D&D
for 30 years now, so I must agree that all these people who have been
playing since before he/she.it were born should be taken seriously.

Dude, you have to really, really *try* to lose money with booze or
naked women. Both, together, would be a gold mine (if it were legal
in California), so long as you keep your bouncers happy.

Oh, I agree. We could hire ninja assassins to kill committee members,
and their replacements would be just as clueless. They *are*
academics, after all.
