Glad to see you got your comp working again. You know
I killed a PSU once by blowing air through it.
If it's the cooler of your PSU you can hear maybe you
should save yourself some money and buy an Antec PSU.
I have an 550HE and it's absolutely silent.

it's hmmm... not so good.

I said "sequel" because it's not exactly that. It's a different game
but by the same developer and has the same gameplay. Look at their fora:
http://www.digitalmindsoft.eu/forums/index.php
There's a Soldiers section as well because the people have moved away
from community.codemasters.com
I'm waiting for T34 vs Tiger.

Thanks.

Yeah, it is very difficult to clean the inside of a PSU, especially with all
the metal and fans in between.
I've read that you can seriously damage the fans.

Well, after cleaning the old PSU, I still heard noises, probably one of the
two fans was dying rapidly, so I replaced it with a new and improved (in
other words, dead silent) PSU by the same manufacturer Chieftec (perhaps a
subsidiary of Antec, I don't know...).

I have heard nice things about Death to Spies (a similar game).
Hour of Victory gets really whammed about its graphics. Mind you, the review
you posted here is for the Xbox version, perhaps the PC version would be
slightly better??
Honestly, I am waiting for the expansion to CoD 4... till then I have a
bunch of games to keep me entertained

We talked about Death to Spies (which I'm playing every now and then).
It's good. Also HoV got slagged off for it's terrible AI.

On a sidenote, I just checked the specs for the game
(I hate it when I cannot find them somewhere, officially!!!)
and I cannot play this game (older videocard). I guess I'll try something
else.

Sure it will. My card is an ATI Radeon X800 Pro and it runs CoD 4
flawlessly.
So I expect an X1950 Pro to be superb concerning CoD 4.

I've been playing Faces of War and some mods for Soldiers. Really
great games. I saw Soldiers for E9,95 in a bargain bin last week.

I did buy the game when it was originally released and played the Russian
campaign.
Then just... forgot about it.
