Actually, if you didn't treat me so bad even when I try to be
genuinely nice, I might listen to you. Your attitude is why I don't
listen. What makes you think I should listen to someone who has
proven themselves to, insofar as I'm involved, be more of a troll than
Ches? Seriously, Rob, you want me to listen, you need to be nicer in
approaching me. Otherwise, I'm going to keep blowing you off. Right
now I suspect if I said the sky was blue you'd either claim it was
orange or pull out some science spiel claiming it's just blue being
absorbed by the atmosphere or whatever just to say I'm wrong. I don't
care. I don't want these arguments, they aren't worth my time, and
99% of the people of RGMW aren't trolling for a flame fest with every
post so why should I bother with the 1% (you) who is?
If you're ready to behave like an adult let me know. Until then, for

actually the science spiel that says your wrong is that the atmosphere
absorbs the other colors -except- for blue... thus we see a blue sky.

Scattering, not absorbtion, is the name of the game when it comes to
the blue sky.

Sure, so could anyone. That's easy.

Not much of a stretch, I'm afraid. Ches admitted to trolling and has
since stopped and I've been able to converse with him without insults.
At no point has Rob ever shown a willingness to even attempt to stop
being hostile toward me, and quite frankly, I can think of at least a
dozen people over him who have more reason to be but aren't.

You're right, sorry. I wasn't thinking on it right, I was thinking of
blue being reflected, not absorbed.

Yeah, I tried to see if I could be a nice guy and all and try to get
along, but in the end, that's folly. Some people just won't get along
with others no matter what, so the best step is to avoid those who you
can't deal with. I also had Ches and some others in there, but I
wiped the whole thing clean in an attempt to get into a... "more
normal relationship" with some people I might have had in there. With
Ches it's worked. No flames, it's all good.
It's clear Rob's only motivation in posting to me is to antagonize,
and for that reason I won't bother with him any more, unless he wants
to stop being a child about it. Sure, you can call me hypocritical
for taking that route. Difference is, I'm not responding to him right
now with taunts or other insults.
And if he was using the KF rules he posted for that newsreader, I'd be
filtered too. Yet he's still replying to me.

Next time, could you try being a little more convincing?
On the off chance you're being serious... It's hard for you to act all
upset when you even admitted to trolling me for a response, Ches. I'm
not saying in the whole of the NG that you're a troll, just that as it
relates to me you were trying to troll... which, as I noted, you
admitted to. Even this post shows such a thing. And if you think
words are going to phase me... well, there's a spot in the KF for
anyone else who wants to act childish.
But hey, as long as you're up for acting decent, I'm cool with that
and have no beef with you, regardless of prior events. The past is
the past and, as far as I'm concerned, it can stay there, no matter
how recent it is.

I haven't seen you be nice. I've seen you be arrogant and rude. I've seen
you be ignorant and condescending.
Frankly Erik you don't have the chops to be condescending to you.
I've snipped the rest of your post because it's just more bullshit.

your short memory has seemingly missed the minor point of Rob being
one of the only people around here that was standing up for you just
one short year or so ago.... ever wondered why that changed?
ever considered that it might be because you only manage to hang

"Dangerously close"? Why would there be any danger? You act like
it's some kind of priviliedge to have you not running around sounding
like a Tourette's-suffering offspring of Jimi the Hunt and Timo!.
Seriously, if you think it'd bug me if you tried spamming the
newsgroup with trolling, you need to put things in perspective. This
isn't 1998.

If I always used that Newsreader and I had display read messages turned
off, then yes I wouldn't see your drivel. But I'm currently using Google,
Xnews, and XPN. I also don't need a KF for anything but spooge because I
have self control and can control what i reply to and how. Unlike some

Thats the problem with erik. He has no idea of how to act in a social
setting. If he reads this he will most likely come up with some multi
paragraph post stating how much better he is at social interaction than
anyone else on the group and prove my point.
Is he as retarded as he was during the whole SEAL thing? Not really.
Is he anything close to being somebody that can be taken seriously? I
don't think so. As far as I am concerned he never will be. He has
shown his true colors too many times to be believed when he says he has
realized the error of his ways. His huge rambling replies are proof of
that. Nearly everyone that has tried to help him be normal has suggested
that he stop doing that. As you can see, it has not worked.
Perhaps there are a few people on the group that think I am being
overly harsh or unfair, but I think I am just being realistic. erik
will never go longer than a few weeks without his arrogance and
ignorance shining through. He has proven this time and time again and
it just blows my mind when somebody decides to stand up for him for
something. He doesn't appreciate it. He uses it to fuel his own ego.
He will continually try to act like what he percieves as cool by jumping
in nearly every thread posted, either trying really hard to make an off
color joke, or trying really hard to impress people with his amazing
knowledge of everything.
It never ends.

No need for a long reply. I have nothing to prove to you. If it's
arrogance to have the self-esteem to understand I don't need to prove
myself to people on a newsgroup who I'll never meet, I'm willing to be
arrogant. I have enough friends without needing RGMW to be my
friends. Simply put, as anyone who DOES know me knows, if you're nice
to me, I'll be nice to you. Piss on me and I'm going to be mad.
Go back and read your post and the part of Robert's post that you
quoted. If you can say that you aren't showing your own degree of
arrogance, then I have no time for you.
Oh gee, look, I wrote a shorter post than you did. Huh.
