Quite possible as people in general tend to be quite boring? :-]

When the users are the content, the content doesn't get any more
exciting than the users... or something.

Latest buzz going around is that people are bored with social networking
sites. I laughed when I saw that type of headline repeated a few times as
I thought of this thread.

Hell yeah, the things that got posted around here about ten years ago,
wohooo!

Actually I spent most of my early online time on here, not anywhere
else.

Boa, this is very true. Honestly, the most interesting blogs to me are
programmers blogs, for some of them (the ones who really blog) tend to
be interesting persons with interesting hobbies.

The only blogs I've really ever bothered checking on some kind of routine
basis have been various ones written by folks stationed at various bases
in Antarctica.

So, are we interesting or boring as hell? Judging from your absence, I
guess the latter Razz

Also, people tend to hop both blogging things and also messenger
things. Back in the day, ICQ used to be about the only one in use,
then it was MSN, now it is skype. Same with blogging, I see some
peopel already moving away from LJ again, to either some other network
or just leave blogging be.

More along the lines of blogs by people living as close to being on
another planet as possible.
