Did you talk to Caine after you got the potions? He tells you how to make the
magic formula.

Ohhhh those 3 things on the left are OUTLETS! I thought they were the
legs of the apparatus on the ground Smile.

I'm playing the Spanish version of Ultima VII and the quemadura
(burner) seems to be off to the left of the round part, and is
difficult to distinguish from the rest of the apparatus.

But I'll try it out when I have the chance!

Put them on the floor to be visually "connected" to 3 small outlets.
Put the empty vial the same way to be "connected" to the long outlet.

Then double-click on the burner below the apparatus. Empty vial will be
transformed to the vial full of proper substance. I don't remember whether
the initial 3 potion vials will become empty or not.

Find the JRRT's monument on the Skara Brae cemetery, there is a level near
it, hardly visible.

Quite honestly, no, I mean there was the mystery around who beheaded
the statue but that wasn't much different than the serpent venom theft
in Paws. There were Fellowship members and Fellowship non-members.
Nothing special or familiar. Why, what did I completely miss?

I am a major, major Trekkie, especially TNG

OK Let me guess:

Horffe (the gargoyle) = Worf
Richter = Riker
John-Paul = Jean-Luc
Tory = Troi
I was thinking Menion was Guinan, but Guinan was the barkeeper/
provisioner, whose place seems to be occupied by Denton
Jordan = Geordi? If so, I don't see how a trainer is an engineer

Surely they could have given Lady Leigh (the healer) a name closer to
Pulaski or Crusher couldn't they have?

If this is what I was supposed to see I don't feel stupid for missing
it Smile.

All right I went back to Serpent's Hold and finally looked intently at
the little portraits that come up when you click on people, and yes,
Jordan looks like Geordi, Horffe looks like a Gargoyle, John-Paul is
bald. Richter doesn't look anything like Riker though.

Lady Leigh (the healer) = BeveryLEY Crusher
Menion has nothing to do with ST:TNG; can't remember why he's there (other
than needing to fill a blacksmith slot at that location?).

Certainly don't feel bad for missing it. It was much more relevant when the
game came out in '92. At this point the references are pretty obscure.

Cheers,
