I think I have everyone beat with anal OCD case organizing. The typewriter
goes top left, the inf. rocket top right, 3 blue-2 red-3 green grenades fit
under the rocket, semi rifle goes under typewriter (scope useless on PS2 so
discard), entire bottom row for heals which must include no less than 4 gold
eggs in the bottom left. When the bottom row is filled with heals I combine
the yellow herb with a red/green one and sell it. I had a different case
arrangement which had to be strictly adhered to on the cube since I had the
hand cannon and rifle scope to carry. Bloody ridiculous, but if I try any
thing out of the ordinary I can't function. Just can't cope with the empty
hole, or must rush back to sell an item that I had to rearrange the case to
pick up. As for the two hour bit, I should have included the fact he did it
with the typewriter, inf. rocket, and skipped the cut scenes. He ended with
a hit ratio of 29%. The most impressive run through on pro has to go to
"airazRE" - she got through the first time (no typewriter etc) in twelve
(12) hours!!! Two hours seems plausible after that - yes? no?

You can save the ammo. There is a small space on the upper walkway to jump
down from (just slightly to the right of the window you jump out of). This
space will land you right in front of the box containing the beerstein. Then
you push the wood bookcase ( I think that's what it is) out of the way to
get out. Shotgun ammo is far more plentiful in the PS2 version. I think they
must have listened to everyone's complaints about that. I too ended up
counting all those missed bullets at the end of the game.

There's a hole to jump through? How'd I miss that? Worse, how did the
BradyGames Official Strategy Guide fail to mention it? Geez, now I
hafta play the game again to find it! >> Stay informed about: advice on RE4 |

This is sad. I bought Code Veronica on ebay and never finished it. I
couldn't get past the big beastie on the ... what was it, landing
platform? The place with all the ice-fog, where you have to use the
rifle to shoot him from afar, or he'll knock you off to an instant
death. I kept running out of ammo! I always meant to go back and start
again, conserving ammo, but never got around to it. After waiting and
waiting to find the game at a fair price (I didn't own a Cube when it
came out, or I would have bought it new and likely finished it), and I
just never finished it. *sigh* What sorta RE fan am I? >> Stay informed about: advice on RE4 |

Hey Rob
Lol no I'm not a picky person at all, just with RE4, I just gots to have
everything all nice and tidy in my cache and I'm very fussy with what
weapons I like based on what they look like..how ridiculous is that. For
instance, I don't use the striker coz to me it looks ugly when really,
it's FP is double that of the riot gun...how stupid can I get, I won't get
through the game very far based on how pretty a gun is lol! I also like
your saying too Rob: 'To the world you are somebody, but to somebody you
are the world'...that's so sweet! >> Stay informed about: advice on RE4 |

Lol I'm just being a typical stubborn female but I don't go as far as only
choosing the best looking weapons. I've decided to go through pro again
but this time, I whole new game..no PRL, no typewriter and no inf rocket
launcher. I'll be choosing all the other weapons I didn't use like the
striker and the red9, I wanna have a go with these guns fully maxed out
just to see the difference since these two guns are apparently the best
out of the shotgun and handguns. >> Stay informed about: advice on RE4 |
