Let me to weigh in here to say that yes John you've long been on the
record about those things, but that doesn't mean that you don't make
numbskull comments.

I'd be willing to bet most people would make a "test" building before
making an entire city, adjusting things as necessary with each new
building added.

I don't like it when I'm getting "called on" a perfectly valid opinion
when the whole thing is subjective in the first place.

This is nothing.

Mmkay... I think your buildings will be rather cavernous, but that's up
to you.

Of course. Wink

Not as subjective as you think, the guy asked his question based on
playability, your answer was geared toward the modelers view. If you had
started your post with something like "From a modelers perspective..."
or in some other way pointed out that you prefer the asthetics of the
way scenery looks more then how useful it is. You might have recieved a
whole lot less flak.

I have seen it happen several times where you jump on to an answer with
a view that has little or nothing to do with the question. Then get
indgnant, and start talking down to people when they call you on it.
It's one of the reasons that I skim most of your posts rather then
reading them all the way through, and if I am pressed for time, I just
mark your posts read and skip them completely.

You're assuming something that flat out wasn't stated in the question.
He simply asked:

{ I am thinking of making some model buildings for Warhammer 40K and was
wondering has tall to make each floor of a building, e.g. the distance
in Inches between each floor. }

If he's not stating his bias towards "playability", then I don't need to
state my bias towards modeling. When the question is that open, I am
free to answer with whatever my opinion might be.
