Been a while, and I forget how to. . .

I haven't played BF1942 in a couple years, maybe more. I always loved
it, especially Desert Combat, I learned how to fly the helis REAL well
... Anyways, What I can't seem to be able to remember, is how to set up a
game with bots. I thought it was done setting up a multiplayer game, but
I don't see how to add bots. Bots work fine in single player, instant
action games, but with that I can't select some of the desert-combat
specific maps like 73 Easting. Can someone help me get back on track
here? I thought also MORE bots could be put in a game however I was
doing it. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks, Greg.

What you want is to host a server locally (sounds like you got that part)
but choose "coop" or "comp" for Cooperative.

In that game mode, it's players vs bots. (Or maybe bots and players vs
bots?)
