Oblivion is almost here. But there are so many things I have never
gotten around to in Morrowind and its mods. I never played vampires.
I never did all those Sanguin things. I never finished Suran
Underworld, having gotten stuck when the lady had no option to follow
me. I never got around to finishing Nevena's Twin Lamps. I never
uncovered the dastardly plot in The Latest Greatest Housing Mod. I
barely got started in Abandoned Flat. I'm not sure how much there is
to Balmora Expansion, as I keep having problems when companions use
bows (no more non standard bows for Laura, Constance or Ingrid). I
never got to the bottom of Laura's problems, as somewhere around her
asking me if she were pretty, there never seemed to be progress (and
yes, I have the spoiler readme). Sigh, I'm sure Constance has a few
more tales to tell....like what happened in Tel Branora. And Anastia
waits for me to get stronger. As does Ysgramor.
Somehow, my characters always get distracted by their own stories. And
I never end up finishing mods I love. Let alone mods I have buried
somewhere in MW, but haven't stumbled across yet. I mean, I'm carrying
my cookbooks, my cooking utensiles, my fire kit, bags and bottles of
water, crab omlettes and bear meat and stuff all over the countryside
in game after game, and I'm not sure I've ever properly finished the
quests in NOM. Though, maybe I have. I'm just not sure.
I am just not ready for Oblivion. I am not ready to leave Morrowind. >> Stay informed about: But....but....but....but I haven't finished Morrowind yet! |

Annastia? Stronger? There are plenty of sudden-death mistakes you can
make there, but if you can survive inside the Ghostfence you're more
than strong enough to finish Annastia. It's more about making the right
choices than being a strong fighter, IIRC.

Well, I've been restarting the game some (I think BE uses an old
version of Marksman that damages strength....anyway, my companions had
been loosing strength although the didn't seem to be carrying anything
enchanted). Right now, Kara's leading stat is her speechcraft (67),
with fighting skills way (way, way) behind. However, she just snared her
first golden saint, so a constant effect enchantment of some sort
should help out quite a bit. Anyway, she is way more interested in
that Lost Helm of the Redorans than in some madman's folly. And, as
long as she's around Gnisis, she may as well visit Koal Cave. (Which
brings us back to the problem of the characters deciding they want to
do something quite different than follow the mods I haven't finished,
or some particular mod I haven't finished.) >> Stay informed about: But....but....but....but I haven't finished Morrowind yet! |

Neither am I, both from a technical and gameplay perspective.
Scent-of-Victory has been extremely busy. She has retrieved two of the
corrupted elements in the Black Mill; delved partly into the mystery of
Oluhan; visited and done a few jobs for the Fighter's Guild in Havish;
found out what happened to Vivus and has been sent off to remonstrate with
Marvin Nimbly; but, now, she is in a right flap because only now, after
finally getting that blasted Saint's Drum, has she remembered that she was
to meet with that Zainsubani fellow in Ald'ruhn.
Besides, Oblivion'll probably only run on Windows XP and I don't have that.
I'm sticking with Morrowind.

Oblivion from what I saw requires some pretty high specs, even in
minimum specs. I won't be getting it for awhile either myself...
