Confused. I paid an extra amount of money to get the limited edition.
the box says that it includes "exclusive limited edition contect.."

That is why it was $10 more expensive - which is about twice the 2.5
euro you paid actually (argh) I like your comment about the merchant's
friend being ironic. It is indeed.

I called Electronics Boutique and they had no idea. There was no
pre-order box (just a receipt) here.

Double argh.

"Merchant's friend" is NOT part of the limited edition. It's part of the
Presale. If you got the Presale Box, there's a link and a keycode: Enter the
link, use the keycode, download the .exe, run it -> Done.

You didn't get the code when you pre-ordered. You got the key when you
BOUGHT the so called "Pre-Order Box(?)". It didn't cost much (EUR 2,5 here)
but you didn't get much for it, just the possibility to play with the
toolset one month before the actual game was released and the Merchant's
friend feat (somehow ironic).

It does, just not the Merchant's friend feat The Preorder Box was esp.
interessting for the people who wanted to try out the toolset before the
actual release... The extra feat was just a little bonus. The limited ed.
looks cooler and contained more

Here (germany) it was in almost every store... So there was not much of a
chance to overlook it Searching for "Preorder Neverwinter" should bring
at least some images of the box...

I couldn't even find a key for my preorder, but when I was playing the
game I noticed that my character already had the feat. I guess it's
built into some editions of the game, no special codes required.

A little more research shows I was mistaken - it's the collectors
edition stuff that needs no key, the preorder extra needs downloading
from their website.

Well, there's a way to enable all that pre-order and LE stuff without having
any key codes or patches at all. I could tell you how, but I'd get yelled
at unmercifully. Anyway, that'd take away the fun of finding out how for
yourself.

I will give you a hint, though--none of those key codes add anything to the
game that's not already there, and forum searches using the right key words
can be very revealing.

Hmm, guess that's two hints. No matter. Anyway, it's not like every other
Tom, Dick, and Harry who's interested doesn't already have that stuff, so
there's no reason you shouldn't, too.

Bingo. I suppose that the "Blessing of Waukeen" feat is somehow connected to
the serial code... But that's just my guess, because it would be easier to
do than to make two versions of the DVD...

Hey, I haven't found any nekkid wimmen in NWN2--you're not holding out on
me, now, are you?!?

Right now, a nekkid wimmen hunt would probably be more productive than
trying to play the crashfest the game's turned into, anyway, lol, since it
seems like the best Obsidian can manage with their patches is one step
forward, three steps back.

Just for the record, you might have read the inital message instead of
responding this way. II paid the extra money and forgot about it until
yesterday and figured that I might as well get the feat etc.

Your response was just plain rude and not ok. I am a fan of computer
games (though I am not very good at them - see the post today)
