I have about the same: 6289 weighing in at 1.8GB - believe me, this is quite modest. Be prepared to be blown away by the overloaded and bloated Downloads folder of some people. There's a guy at MATY whose game takes 30 minutes to load because of all the stuff he has jammed in there. Mine takes less than 5 on a very modest system. I won't even quote mine because it is so low. I do not use many downloaded objects, and regularly throw them out and start again. I do, however, have 220 (3.51MB) of mod files. Which I will state as I believe that to be a reasonable (maybe even high) number of mod files. MM -- " . . . In this moment I have 4 young men in the university and they have not even a correct PJ for each one, idem for the sportwear, there are only 3. You go into the shops and nothing new, they are the same clothes than when you create your sim. I have about 6000 in my saved sims folder (including clothing, skins, makeup etc) and around 20000 in my download folder not to mention my most recent downloads from this weekend that are not in because I haven't ran the houses through the clean installer yet. It takes about 20 minutes for the game to startup - enough time to get the kids situated so I can play. Tee >> Stay informed about: How many files in the "Downloads" Folder ?

You can use your Saved Sims folder to put stuff in as well as the Downloads folder. Saved Sims is meant to be where you put the stuff you make yourself (Bodyshop saves its finalised files there and also any sims you make in Bodyshop). However, if you don't make your own stuff, it can be a useful extra storage space. No - those are only the working files (and don't send them out to anybody else because they will only work in your game). The finalised files get saved in Saved Sims. Homecrafter saves the walls and floors there too. Hi There!!! It's not that kind of "wow", when your game suddenly are so slow, and right now, I have put in half of all my downloads...
