Erik, everything that happened to you was brought on by your own
actions. Perhaps some people went too far, but that doesn't change the
fact that they would have never done anything to you had you not
provoked the entire thing.

To this day you still have not learned when to just shut your mouth.
People have given you advice on how to be more human, and you have
ignored them at every turn. Once in a great while you post something of
value, but it is normally lost in the nonsensical rantings about this
game store, or that time somebody picked on you, or how horribly like a
soap opera your life is. Nobody cares about your life experiences here.
If someone here really truly desires to learn more about you I am sure
they will contact you in some way off of this group.

Well, I had a post about as long as yours written up, but realized
that, even with the best intentions, it could be used by those who
want an excuse to flame me.

You don't remember what happened then, or the root cause (which has
since been removed from this newsgroup), so I'll let it go. I won't
even try to convince you everyone was wrong and there was no
justification for anything back then.

I will give you ONE "life story" here, but it's relevant. During that
time I stupidly threatened a guy's wife with physical harm. Yes, I
was a complete ass for doing so, and I was wrong. But I see him many
times a month and often talk with him, have played games with him, and
joked with him about games and stuff. It's been left in the past,
where it belongs, both of us are past it (granted, it did help that I
apologized a few years ago). So it can be done.

Please do not tell me how long I have been on this newsgroup. I have been
posting off and on here since 1997, and I browse through the group at least
once every few days. Maybe my posting frequency labels me more of a lurker
than a reg, but believe me, I have been here and I remember all of your
antics.

I'm not saying how long you've been here. I'm saying you don't
remember THE root cause: Jimi Tubman. If my hard drive hadn't gone
belly up, I could even provide you the original e-mail that started it
all.

Since you DON'T know what started it all, I refer you to:
http://groups.google.com/group/rec.games.miniatures.warhammer/browse_f...thread/

The background behind all this is that Jimi had a site which basically
ripped off stuff including some of GW's 3rd edition codices
pre-publication, and it was a shoddy site at that. Apparently someone
noted this on a GW links site, which was then accused of being my
dad's site since it had Inisfail rated high (I can't even find the
site any more to see what they'd said about Jimi's site). Basically
people started hating on Inisfail because my dad didn't like Jimi -
which, in and of itself, was a years-old issue involving Jimi acting
like a total spazz on a mailing list or two, earning himself a lot of
enemies and no friends in the process. So he did a parody of Inisfail
and sent me the link in an e-mail, complete with credit given to RGMW.
In retaliation, I verbally lashed him on RGMW. The debate comes here.
The whole SEAL-military-whatever issue was brought up because of a bio
page on my dad's site, and I'm surprised anyone even takes a bio page
on the web seriously (I don't bother with one for that reason). Heck,
that page was even hacked during the whole ordeal. Point is, it began
long before it spilled over onto RGMW, and the core problem was the
same as it was in the Cammander thread and during that time period.

Now, if you'll note, I'm not blaming anyone else, as they were
defending a person who at the time was a friend, just as I was
defending my father. I can respect that, and don't hold it against
them.

Please go back and read what's on the newsgroup itself. Even without
the off-newsgroup stuff, it'll help you understand that I didn't just
mysteriously show up out of the blue to randomly attack RGMW, and I
will NOT have someone trying to claim that's what happened. I may
have acted like a dumbass in my early time here, but it was as a
REACTION to someone else being a dumbass. I showed up as a result of
being attacked on here and having it forwarded to my private e-mail.
And like I said, I don't hold RGMW or its members resposible any more,
just one idiot who was a cancer to every online community he ever was
a part of.

I tried to avoid getting into this, but I won't let someone smear me
and paint everything as being my fault alone, especially when my part
of it was a reaction.

I think you need to take a step back and have a look at how close to doing
a 'Jimi' you just came. Kaine was trying to tell you something in his
posts that I just don't think you get. I don't know whether it is hubris,
I don't know if its because you insist on operating on preconcieved notions
of people, or it's because of the events you recently posted about.

RGMH self destructed not because of opposing opinions but because it was
never a community.

You might think that a lot of people from the old days are gone but some of
us still have [active] email addresses for them. It's not like we'd be
adding them to our Facebook friends list or anything tho'

Post subject: Re: Two old figure questions [Login to view extended thread Info.]

Has tried this with earnings and all works!!! Has come across it at one forum and has decided to try. Wandering as it is usual on different sorts to forums, I find this clause in which it is spoken that it is possible to make thousand dollars for couple of weeks at an investment only 6 $.
Further there was spoken, that it is necessary to translate on 1 WMZ on 6 purses of known payment system WebMoney. After transfer money, exclude from the list the very first number, and in the end of the list write the and throw on 200 various forums. Any dodges ? Well I have reflected and have thought, that I lose nothing except for 6 WMZ both has decided to try + And guess that!!! In four days at me the purse has started to replenish. I was in a shock!!! But at once has thought, that on it all and to end
In the first week I have made 18WMZ, further by the end of the second week already it is more 800 WMZ + to the middle of 3-rd week 6580WMZ +!!! A fourth week and I have already counted 15 000 WMZ and the sum grows very quickly. And this all only for the price in 6 WMZ!!! I was in very bad economic situation before have come across this clause!
I have not believed that it works yet I have not started to receive money + has bought all that is necessary to me + and it very opportunely, will agree?! + and now I shall tell to you as it works also the most important WHY +!
I to you guarantee, that if you in accuracy will observe below the listed instructions YOU WILL start TO RECEIVE much more money than you thought, not applying on it of special efforts. The offer: Прочтите it few times! Follow instructions and MONEY WILL start TO ACT in your purses. Will agree it SIMPLY!!! It LEGALLY. And your contribution makes only 6 WMZ + IMPORTANT: It not a deceit and it is not illegal, thus you risk nothing, but it works!!!
NOTICE: Follow instructions in ACCURACY and 50 000 WMZ and will be yours during from 20 till 60 days more. ALL THIS SUCCESSFULLY WORKS OWING TO HONESTY of PARTICIPANTS!

If you are interested, here the list of purses in system WebMoney on which it is necessary to send on 1 WMZ:------------------------------------

1 z160240779720
2 z174506043950
3 z199234983797
4 z401164413477
5 z921916987898
6 z151434944880

After transfer money, exclude from the list the FIRST number, and in the end of the list ADD the . Now it is necessary to place only the information at forums and to receive profit. Place this clause at not less than 200 forums. REMEMBER, than more you place that above there will be your income and this income will depend directly on you.
