Tested in wizmode and in Explore mode: this works. Locations that are
in LOS because of Eyes of the Overworld are workable targets for ?
ostinking cloud. Moreover, I learned that stinking cloud goes *through
walls*. I killed myself with a stinking cloud scroll in this
situation:

where the bottom-most square, a closet behind a secret door, was the
target of my scroll.
