Can't use new features in Seasons

Click on the ground under the butterflies or fireflies to catch them (or, at
least, try to catch them)
Click on the pond (if the water is deep enough) to catch fish (or, at least,
try to catch them)
The snow must be deep (pure white not patchy/blotchy) to make snow men or
snow angels. Then you click on it and you will have the option appear - be
careful. Building snowmen has resulted in the only Sims 2 children I've ever
had taken away by the social services.

Hi MM and DeAnn
I did try the ones for catching fireflies and butterflies; all I got
was the "go here, run here, etc." dialogue. For fishing, I can see
the fish jumping in the ponds, and the cursor does indeed turn to an
action circle, but when I click the thing, no options come up. The
fish are there, but I can't fish.
My sims can have snowball fights, but again, when I scan over the
deep snow, the cursor does not change, and when I click, again, I
just get the "go" options.

While waiting for a reply here, I checked out the BBS on
thesims2.com, and discovered that I am not the only one who has that
problem. MaxoidSam is blaming it on the InSiminator

Try taking it out and see. It causes a lot of problems, I think, and IMO is
not worth the hassle. Just turn on the debug cheat and you can do
everything the InSiminator does.

You can change ages with another cheat anyway but I think it does have those
options. There's nothing particularly special about InSim.

Hi Mim. That is possible. Is it Seasons-ready? I did delete it
from my downloads folder, and my Sims are happily catching boots
while searching for the golden trout.
