My favorites at first were Desdemona (duh!) and the Pleasant twins... fighting
tooth and nail... I have them in collage now - in the same dorm!
I also loved Titania Summerdream... what a name... what a look!
And the Capps, with Consort the crotchety old millionaire, actually stealing
peoples newspapers! And the kids, never doing their homework... he died but was
so much fun, I brought him back AND his late wife! They fight all the time!
And Kent Capp, a real jocko!
I never cared much for any of the Montes... except maybe the old lady of the
clan.
As for other various factory sims, Goopy Gilscarbo (?) has to be the oddest
named... (after an EA guy?) so he is included... one of these days I'm going to
(cheat) add him to a family and play him!
I saw Sandi Bruti so much, I had a sim marry her - and she turned out to be the
mayor!
Other sims seem to come and go... there was one blonde once that wore a big pink
and cream party dress from the 40s it looked, haven't seen her in a while...
can't remember the name... >> Stay informed about: Who are your favorite (included) Sims? |

I like Cassandra Goth...she reminds me of me....and thre's a little girl
paper carrier who is quite the tomboy looking...she's always happy and
chipper...I like her...and I think Gunther Goth is a real stitch...he
spends half his life reading on the toilet...I My Goths are all clones
made by MIM, Maxon, Jeanne and Kat not the Pleasantville crew...they're
SIMS 1 for 2 Goths...Only other game people I play are the bunch from
Strangetown..they kind of grtow on you after a while...can't stand
General Grunt, though...he's a nasty assed sob.... >> Stay informed about: Who are your favorite (included) Sims? |

I've tried playing him twice and he's a total sleazoid. He's a romance sim
who is very lazy and sloppy. The first want he has when he gets home from
work is to change into his underwear! I've never seen that want roll on any
other sim in all the years I've been playing!
>
> I saw Sandi Bruti so much, I had a sim marry her - and she turned out

I've had her marry playable sims before. As I recall, she always has twins
the first time she's pregnant.
>

I only played Veronaville for a short while. I didn't really get into any
of the sims there. Too many households with the same last name! LOL
I like Pleasantview sims, and for the past year or so I've been playing a
Sims 1 for Sims 2 neighborhood (that I call Simville) with clones of some of
the Strangetown crowd added for a little zip. I'm especially fond of Bella
Goth, I don't know why I like her so much, but she's intriguing. She's a
romance sim, but I've never played her as a floozy. She and Mortimer are
like the great love story, like Morticia and Gomez Addams. I get a kick out
of Mortimer serenading her. In my neighborhood, they start out married and
already have Cassandra (who I cloned and regressed back to childhood), so
when they have Alexander, he's genetically theirs and is actually a pretty
good looking boy, not at all like the one in the real Pleasantview.
I changed Cassandra from the dopey looking nerd girl. She's actually a
pretty sim if you change that hair, get rid of the glasses and put some make
up on her. Since she's a Goth, I gave her a Goth look and it's perfect for
her. I sent her to University, where she met Don Lothario, but they didn't
hit it off very well. But one look at Darren Dreamer and she was a goner.
So, in my game, she's the mother of Dirk Dreamer.
I always liked Brandi Broke, too, and in Simville, she started out as a
toddler with her parents Bob and Betty Newbie. She met Skip Broke and was a
teenaged mother who had to get married and he's a slob. I've played her
before and she and John Burb always have three bolts for each other, but
they are both as fertile as rabbits, so unless I want an overflow of Brokes
and Burbs in the neighborhood, I have to ride a tight rein on them.
I like the Curious brothers and the Grunts. General Buzz is a real hoot,
all bluster but you let a pretty redhead flirt with him and he melts like
butter in the frying pan. LOL There's a huge rivalry between him and Tank
over Lucy Hanby in my game right now. Tank is off at college and the old
man just might marry Lucy before he graduates, but I expect he'll be back
and chasing Lucy again before long.
But my all time favorite sims to play are the Hicks, Eldon and Mama. There
is such inspiration there for story telling. They are trashy and poor,
earthy and realistic in my game. It's amazing, though, how many simoleons
it takes to decorate a hovel and make it look like real trash. LOL

Interesting. I married her to a sim of mine - and she certainly wasn't the
mayor, bit of a slacker I think!.
She produced a single girl first time, but twins the second. The older girl
met a nice lad at Uni - but he eventually married one of the twins, having
got both of them pregnant, within a day, and both had twins. I'd love to
know how the game decides when to produce multiple births - I have no hacks
for it.
I like the Pleasantview lot the best, in particular Cassandra and Brandi,
and like you had bee playing them in a "Pleasant Village". But I haven't
really touched it since Seasons and I'm thinking of a restart, replacing the
custom fruit and veg etc. I'll need to wait for Inteen to get updated for
Bon Voyage for Brandi though.
Cassandra did fall for Don at uni in my game, but she hadn't yet met Darren.
She aways seems to go for him.

Thanks for the warning. Guess Sandi's off my list of potential mates for
my current custom Sim - despite her 2 lightning bolts of chemistry...

When I married off Sandi to one of my sims, I had them adopt twice, since I
didn't want any ugly mixed DNA babies... but of course the adoptee's can be
awful as well... so I let them get it on, and she had twins! Boy and girl. They
just now became toddlers, but one of them sometimes has her teeth sticking out
her neck!!
Ehyyyooooo! Makes my skin crawl... reminds me of Alien!

I played Brandi Broke for a while, she had 3 kids... I got tired of the little
shack they had and motherloded her a mansion... she still needs to get
married...
I seldom played the Goths or Nina and whatever Caliente... I switched over to
playing only Veronaville for almost a year.
Now with OFB I am back in Pleasentville, and I have almost all of the bluewater
businesses bought out by the sims, plus a few of my own creations. Only about 3
more lots to buy... some sims are going to own 2 and 3 businesses!
I often jump into collage town to get the kids towards graduating, so I can
increase the population... I made more girls than boys though, and I'm going to
need to make a nest of boys for the girls to marry! Ya! Maybe a dorm with 8
guys! next project...
There is no way I would have time for pets or vacations! I didn't even load
Seasons because it screws up living outside... and I still have to go explore
downtown! >> Stay informed about: Who are your favorite (included) Sims? |

Just a word of caution.... It probably won't matter how carefully you try
to create those male students, your playable females will likely turn their
collective noses up at all of them and fall helplessly in love with the NPC
dormies that look like gorillas. <g> It always happens that way in my
game.

The Pleasant twins are nice contrast. In my last game they didnt
become friends
until their senior year at College. Lilith usually gets into some sort
of altercation
if shes an NPC during another lots outing.

Some like Jean Tellerman are recurring while others are archtypes who
reappear with
the same look and characteristics but different names.
The one in the black evening gown and red scarf with long black hair
is worth looking at.
$70k in cash professional party guest. Acquisitive.
I played Malcom Landgraab after my 6 month hiatus just completed. I
prefer playing lots
with 6 or more sims so I was surprised how much I enjoyed doing a
loner. His Electronic
Supercenter was fun to play. I found running a business could b good

Sim. All of those contacts and the networking bonus could mean an easy

Townies don't always have the same amount of money. Long time ago I married
a sim who was the start of a legacy family to a townie who brought in a nice
enough amount of money, someone else used him, he had a bit less. Another
time I married a sim to a townie and the game messed up somehow, and the
next time I got an entirely different amount. But the one you mention
looks like she should be worth plenty.

The one mentioned above is known as "the Diva" and she is loaded. Same goes
for "Mr. Big" who is also a downtownie. I've never been able to run across
either one of them, and I have looked. In fact, Nina Caliente thought she'd
found Mr. Big and he was pretty hard to get to know. She kept inviting him
over and finally was able to sleep with him and get pregnant with his baby.
(Babies, actually, as it turned out to be twins!) She got him to move in
with her, thinking she'd marry him and then bump him off and move to a nicer
part of the neighborhood. Turns out he only had $2000! It wasn't Mr. Big
after all, and now she's stuck with two brats and an unemployed house guest!
LOL

I think I may have... He wears a red smoking jacket-looking outfit and tends
to be better looking than other Maxis sims. I've never tried to have sims
get to know him or the Diva. There seems to be only one sim with the red
suit so I think I'm right about who Mr Big is, as the picture in the Prima
Guide for NL shows the suit I'm thinking of as the Mr Big outfit. I've also
only ever seen the Slob once. She kept farting at people and most sims on
the community lot were repulsed by her. LOL

There's one Mr Big, one Diva and one female and one male slob. The Diva
wears a red evening dress and you can always spots the slobs because they're
dressed in stained pyjamas.
Best wishes
