Top view? I can play Konami Road Fighter for hours without boredom.

Behind car view? Outrun or Super Hang On

Super Sprint
Championship Sprint
Final Lap 2
Out Run
Out Run 2
Virtua Racing
Night Driver
Ferrari F355 Challenge

There are a lot more out there, but these are some of the best based on just
plain old fun and good driving physics.

Great list so far.I'm not into Spy Hunter,Pole position,Any Sprint
games,Night driver,or that Taito one with the indy car on the side cant
think of the name.Oh Continental Circuit.Had all of those and parted
with them.Although all are great classics I am looking for something
with a more real look and even I could link together to race people
with.I like Rush but wanted to check out other peoples
favorites.Thanks....Dave

Ok checked out the ones on the list so far and these are the closest to
what I am looking for:
Out Run 2
Virtua Racing
Ferrari F355 Challenge
Daytona USA
Sega Super GT

Any others.I guess the hard part would be to research this list and
decide which one rules.

My personal favorite is Power Drift. Great game, sorry I traded it, but it
IS a bitch to move. Heavy and the weight is not distributed well. Same cab
as an Outrun or Turbo Outrun...

On the lighter side, I also loved Super Hang On. Motorcycle racing, but
good soundtrack and fun to play.

If you are into realism and have the cash, Ferrari F355 Challenge is
hard to beat. It is basically a Ferrari Simulator.

Daytona USA is my all time best, but only in multi-player version.
