Some general help

Known Solutions to keep Bugs Away

* Do not use any space in the game directory
* You should use the default directory C:\Planets4
* Make sure C:\Temp exist, if not create it.
* Install latest game package (Dec 20th, 2005 Complete shareware
package v4r21.exe) get it here
* Install Latest planets4.exe (4.060) get it here
* Install Latest host (197) get it here
* Try disabling your anti-virus software, many times it cause
errors.
* The clear slot button does not work at 100%, you should manually
delete the content of a War or Univ directory.
o You need to manually delete all of the contents of
planets4/war/(game number) and planets4/univ/(game number) or the last
set of messages is rolled over. Clearing the slot doesn't work fully.
* In the event there is an error when you make a turn, the files
are too small to run properly in host, you can copy your war directory
to another computer, and make the turn there, without redoing any
commands.
