error loadgame RE II

I've a problem with starting a loadgame in RE II, since I reinstalled and
then a year later installed it on my new pc, it wont install a savegame
properly, ive made it into the darkroom,saved my game but after a restart it
and optioned my load game it shows "load failed!" Please what do I have to
do to get my savegame properly in my folder and the possibillity to load it?

Since you aren't actually too far into the game, it'd be less hassle to
restart the game.

Also, it's better to go to support sites for the
publisher,etc...download some patches etc...
