I bought northern strike in a package from amazon and the bloody thing had
a code in it still expecting me to use
ea-slowest-snail-in-the-snail-race-link

I try and use it (its always slow also from largedownloads) and all I get
is 20kb/second on a 2mbit link

What a bloody swizz they force you to use their web site/downloader and
then provide a shitty service.

OK If I use it early in morning from UK I get reasonable speeds but I
want to use it now not wait till tomorrow frikkin morning.

Ought to be a law against it....

i my self use ea link or waht used to be ea downloader, and have not had any
problems with it as i have purchased many items from it such as bf2142 and
northernstrike pluss all the bf2 boosters, may i sugest that if your
suffering from poor download speeds that you check for spyware and ad-ware,
and may want to think about cleaning your system up, may i suggest
www.tune-up.com as cleaning software and go on www.download.com and search
for o&o defrag and ad-aware, hope this is of use to you

actually ea link went quite speedy, its the public site that is slow,
maybe it was just the times i tried it.

i just cant stand poxy autoload resident software that insists on auto
logging on as though its their freaking computer not yours the pompous
pigs.

tonight cant log on to ea serverrs in game, what shite, I paid money for
this game I want to be able to play the f'er not be at the mercy of ea
servers not being available to get my character details.
