Does anyone know where I can directly download the latest nwn1 patch.
I try to use the upgrade on the game but I have dial up and with the
disconnects it is almost impossible to download any sizeable file much
less a 80+ gig one.
I can go to the office and use dsl to download or if resume is
available I can download on dial up but it takes a lot of hours.
Tis a bit irritating to have to go through this.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Try http://www.thieves-guild.net Free registration needed, but there is
definitely the first patch.

http://nwn.bioware.com/support/patch.html <-- from that page you can get
to the 1.68 patches for original NWN and NWN with either or both
expansions installed. (In multiple languages, too <g>)

Hey Diz,
A person on the Bioware Forums by the name of TNT220 posted direct links for
the available patches through the 1.02. I hope he posts links for the 1.03
when it comes out of Beta, and future patches. This link should take you to
his post.

When you download the patch it will be in a zip file. Do not unzip it. Just
place the file in your NWN2 directory then use the in-game update button.
You do not have to be connected to the internet. Be patient with it, you
will probably get a message asking to connect to the internet. Don't do
anything, the patch will start in a few moments. Be aware that you must have
7 gigs of free space on your hard drive for the patch to work.
