diary of an elite special operations soldier

My first mission was very important. I had to put a satchel in the middle of
a road and detonate it when a tank rolled over it. Piece of cake.

There was a helpful square marking the exact point in the road where I was
to place my satchel. I approached the point undetected and fired a few
rounds at the tarmac as I figured out how to drop the satchel.

Eventually I figured it out in time to retreat to the cover of some long
grass as the convoy approached. Slowly the convoy wound its way along the
narrow road to the point of oblitteration.

Learning from firguring out how to drop the charge I was prepared this time
with the mouse scroll wheel poised on the detionation option. Suddenly the
tank at the front of the convoy appeared into view right at the point where
my satchel lay.

BOOM!! I nailed that son of a b.. no wait I was too late, I detonated
between a tank and a truck! The truck stopped and a small army of men
climbed out. Not to worry, I was in good cover, I can lie here and pick them
off with my rifle.

Unfortunately as I selected my rifle, I went from the prone position in the
cover of long grass to standing up in full view of everyone I'd just tried
to blow up. Man, they were pissed. They all fired their weapons directly at
me and each bullet entered my body, tearing me to pieces.
