Wow, no one has posted to this for over 2 weeks. So to get things rolling
again....

Recently some interesting tactical and strategic questions have come up on
the Bay Area Diplomacy list, and a player suggested that having expert
commentary on a game might be useful for improving his game.

So I'm going to run a sort of demonstration game. I'm looking for 7
committed players to play, some "experts" to write commentary for each turn,
and lots of observers who think this is a good idea and that they might
learn something.

At this point, I *may* still have one or two spots open for players. More
importantly, the game is open to anyone who would like to observe and follow
the commentary. We're probably going to get the game showcased on the Dip
Pouch.

So, if you are interested in either playing or being added to the observers
list, please send me an email (agman AT stanford DOT edu)

-Adam

Is this a standard or variant game? Judge or human adjudication?
Deadlines? Press? Gunboat-ness?

I'm not playing, but I'm commenting, and you KNOW I wouldn't comment
if it was gunboat..... Wink

PS Yes, thanks, Adam, it had been awhile. We're about to announce
shortly some new changes in the Pouch and a new issue etc. But no
word yet on when that might be. I hope that will get things a bit
more excited around here.
