the worse computer customer service i have every seen was on the phone for a
2 hours hung up on four time, they lied about a 20 percent coupon they gave
in the mail,that was working for two days for my different
configurations,and then it said Your coupon code was printed incorrectly
call dell,real bad service warning you about them,they gave a coupon in
the mail and then after it worked,then said Your coupon code was printed
incorrectly .DO NOT BUY FROM DELL

What's funny is that 2 of my computers are out of commission, and the Dell I
bought 5 years ago is still working great.

mine too.3 years old,nice rig when purchased,still works great,never
given me any problems to speak of. Had to call customer service once 3
yrs ago and they were quite helpful. But things never work out the same
way for everyone.

Not sure why this Dell complaint is in the group it's in, but I doubt I'd
ever by a Dell. I've heard a number of bad reports.

I have all Gateways and am as pleased as someone would be who ripped the
last peel off an orange. Generally, it is always better to be able to fix
on your own most computer-related problems. Tech people oftentimes only
have a basic knowledge of what to do, most of that being scripted.
