Well basically one night, instead of working, I was browsing people on LJ
who had the same interests as me. When I browsed the list of people intested
in "the dig", I found someone who had a whole bunch of other similar
interests - adventure games, collecting toys, martial arts...turns out that
she basically is interested in pretty much everything I am. Which is a good
start.

Over the past year or so we've talked and talked and I spent five weeks in
Pittsburgh this summer with her. It's all working out pretty well and her
family absolutely love me - they're a fantastic bunch of people and they all
collect toys too, which is hilarious.

I let Mostly Useless die because I plan on resurrecting it as an LJ
community - that way I can reach a wider audience and people will actually
remember to read it since it's integrated into their daily LJ activities.

I just need to write some material for it.
