Thanks...To be honest, I never really left...I'm always lurking, and I
really should make a proper posting comeback too. After all, you guys were
my first internet community (and still the only real one if you don't count
LJ) and if it weren't for starting here I wouldn't have so many great
friends (or my girlfriend, whom I met via LJ, and that story is
Lucasarts-related, believe it or not!)

I know we'll probably never get the place back to how it was in the glory
days, but ah well. hey, we should all go look up our old files and have a
nostalgia-fest and post old pictures and stuff. You know my old pre-LJ
journal is still out there?

Oh yeah, I guess I could do that too...

After I threw Steve out (over a year ago), I started working two jobs. I
was working as a jewelry sales person at Sears - which most of you already
knew - or forgot by now. ^_~ But I worked at Saturday Matineee, which is a
video store, in the evenings to help pay the bills after he was out of the
picture. Anyway, Carl (my husband) owns a gym in the same mall where I was
working both jobs, but he never shopped at Sears. A few months after I
started working at Saturday Matinee, he said he saw me when he was walking
by, and he made a trip into the store to "buy a DVD for his son". I
basically brushed him off when he asked me to come and see the gym, by
saying I don't like to be harrassed - he said "it's not that type of gym",
and I said "I get harrassed everywhere" and he said "maybe it's the eyes".
But anyway, I said that because at that point I was disgusted with
relationships and wasn't looking for any new hassles. And it worked...he
thought I was stuck up and left me alone.
Well...about a week after that he came into Sears (at that point I was
working in the electronics department) because he heard there was a sale on
ellipticals (some type of exercise thing), he saw me, and he came up to me
and asked if I had been harrassed lately. I made the mistake of smiling.
He got through my defenses!! After that, he came into the store with
excuses to buy things, and then he finally asked me out. We fell in love
the first date, and after a month we were engaged, and a month after that I
was pregnant. Soooo, then I had the baby on June 21st and we were married
on my sister's birthday, September 16th. We went to a courthouse to do it,
because we just wanted to be married. It was on a Friday, so next September
16th will be a Saturday, and I think that's when we want to actually have
the wedding and renew our vows.

Everything else is pretty much the same.
