AFSJJBDDD is being dull as a very dull thing on a cloudy day, so I
thought I'd come back here (as everyone always does), since I recently
finished Monkey Island 1

Anyway, I'm interested in, eh... "procuring" a copy of Monkey Island II,
preferably the version that has pretty pictures for your inventory. Any
help here would be hot.

Anyway, that's all. TURN BACK, TURN BACK! OR DARKNESS WILL ENVELOPE ME!
Or whatever that thing is.

That's a Jar Jar quote, isn't it? I swear he says that at some point.
We'll not have your evil propaganda in here, thank you very much.
Also: I'm pretty sure all versions of MI2 have the icon inventory, and
I'm pretty sure I don't know where you could find a copy. Sorry.

You really should, you know. We've upgraded the darkness since you left.
It is approximately 25% darker now, and believes in a thing called love.

Hmm, maybe I should have put some darkness in the envelope too...

Yeah, it is, you sussed me.

Ah, okay. The MI1 I first played just had a text list, but fuzzie showed
me some crazy Mac version that had pretty pictures Smile

I suppose by MI2 they'd actually standardised things up a bit.

Fewer verbs too, I seem to recall. I think they realized you didn't
actually use "turn on/off" for anything, ever.

Yeah, I think they scrapped "Walk to" as well, making it sort of the
default verb so you didn't have to select it just to get Guybrush to
move around.

I can't remember whether they defaulted clicking inventory objects to
"use" or "look at", though. I know DotT did one and MI did the other.
