Hi,

I am new to this discussion group, I found it through http://girasoli.org/arcade/.

I have a non-working Atari Tempest.

Does anyone have a good restoration page online or know of one?

Thanks for all your help.

Sincerely,
Kevin H.

Really depends on whats wrong with your game. Heres one guide I found
via google.

All depends on what you need to fix on it.

So, maybe we can point you in the right direction. What does your
Tempest do or not do? Does it play 'blind', you can hear and play the
game, but you can't see it? Does it not turn on? How much skill do you
have with electronics?

Thanks for all your help everyone, I finally managed to open up the
cab with some help.

Looks like the power supply has been worked on with newer clean/fresh
parts.
It does look like its missing a few parts on the top left of the 2nd
power supply board, where it converts to different ac and dc voltages.

Monitor I have feeling needs work, there was a piece of paper inside
from the last owner indicating he had called people concerning monitor
woes.

Considering this machine is not mint, I will probably try and see what
price I can find for it at present condition, if I do not get any good
offers, I will try to fix it over time with help from the forum and
friends, then sell it.

Thanks!

Kevin
