I see our newsgroups are still overrun with spam



Interesting thing this morning... logged into an "expired" character
by mistake and it refreshed... wow! I refreshed about 30 expired
chars before getting banned by switching too fast. Has anyone heard
of this recently?

Hey Reg! Great to see you buddy!

About the 'expired character' thing, Blizz has changed it so that they still
stay 'available' for refreshing in perpetuity as long as nobody else has
used the toon's name. Once a character expires, it's name becomes available
for recycling. Just so long as it hasn't ben used, you're good to resurect
it.

I'm pleased that you discovered it for yourself. I made the mistake of
checking my old mule accounts (some with collections of good stuff,
including HRs) and deleting them on seeing that they were expired. A week
later I found out about this new policy of Blizz's.
