Sometimes when starting Morrowind, the game crashes, and the event log
says there is a problem with the d3d8.dll. Usually Direct3d using dx8 also
fails in DxDiag. It started after an uncontrolled shutdiown. I've run
checkdisk, I've reinstalled both DX9 and Dx8. No help. The problem occurs
mainly if I've started the game after I've used the PC for a while. If the
game starts, it runs stable, without crashes.
Rebooting the machine helps.
