crowning question

Does precrowning have any effect on crowning in the sense that you must
be crowned of the same alignment? I cannot seem to attain the absolutely
close. Starting at very close, I've sacced some 200 blessed stomas,
zillion of corpses of all kinds, a whole minor vault of berskers and at
least 50 other creatures, a number of sis and some gold. I had two
pre-crownings as neutral. Now trying to get crowned lawful. Any ideas?
Is it just that I need a lot more piety for crowning because of two
pre-crownings or am I losing time because I cannot be crowned L? It's a
pain luring all those creatures to the altar with permanent
invisibility. Harvesting stomas in the big room is no fun either.
