Post subject: no crosshairs
Archived from groups: alt>games>quake2 (more info?)
Dont know if anyone else has had this problem but here goes.
I recently upgraded OS to Windows XP Pro, installed Quake2, but cannot see
any crosshairs. Downloaded PakExplorer hoping to create new pak files to get
crosshairs but with no success.

Please Help

IIRC, the crosshairs won't appear at certain resolutions. Try different
ones to see if they'll pup back up.

Ok I got them back by one of the following:
1. Updating DirectX to 9.0c
2. Updating Video Card Drivers

I'm not sure which one or both because I performed both before I checked for
crosshairs.
