crash on save - help plz

I have Oblivion installed with the Knights of the Nine disk and Shivering
Isles. After ~45 hrs of play the game is now crashing every time I try to
save. It doesn't mater if it's Quick, Auto or New Save, the game just shuts
down.

Any idea why?

I finally uninstalled Shivering Isles, the 1.2 patch and went back to
Oblivion with the 1.51 patch. Good luck finding a solution - I don't think
there is one until BS addresses the issue with a proper patch.
