Can't connect elevated rail to station!!!

I'm trying to do the Rush Hour tutorial in Sim City 4 Deluxe. When I
try to connect the elevated rail to the station, it goes up almost to
it but it won't connect. If I click in the end of the station it says
that it's a reserved space or something like that. I also tried
leveling the area and bulldozing a wide area around the station, but it
still doesn't connect! This really sucks!

Tried running the rails through the station yet? Its not enough to stop the
rails the square next to the station - there will be a gap. You have to run
the rails right through the station - the tracks on the starion will turn
yellow to indicate you have done the right thing as i recall.
