It has, but the games aren't selling, and until the games sell in decent
quantities, irrespective of the hardware's installed userbase,
developers won't be jumping around desperate to make exclusives for it.
And if it ends up being the case that nobody other than Nintendo is
making games for it, it'll end up like all the others, nice, with a
great game or two every year, but with little longevity.

Probably the latter, although I take it to be implied.

No, you confused me. I said the cheap DVD players could upscale to an
acceptable level, and you said there was a difference between expensive
tech and cheap tech, which I thought was you implying the Wii was
expensive tech and a £2 upscaler chip wouldn't do the job. That's still
how it appears to me!

Look, Zo, you KEEP SAYING THAT, but the fact is that the top 40
has consistantly been 30-50% Wii games since launch.
Yeah, I know you're going to start babbling on about attach rates
now, but that has bugger all to do with it. There are games already
selling in decent amounts. Otherwise they wouldn't be showing up in
the charts.

Oh I give up. I have this horrible vision of me and you sitting opposite
each other in a nursing home and gumming abuse at each other, before
finally falling into the passionate clinch that we've been denying for
so long.
Or something.

Not sure about Gareth's model of telly, but upscaling 480p to 1080p will
look worse than to 720p.
Wii looks passable on my 1080p, not great but I play fine anyway. Plus I
don't have a PS£/360 to compare to.
