The memories just were not appearing in the game but they were there when I
checked with SimPE. She's got the 5,000 and 10,000 memories. I'm going to
have to step up their earning power if I want her to actually achieve
100,000. The pregnancy and staying home for a few of days didn't help,
either! Loki is just about to become a mad scientist. Hopefully he'll get a
nice bonus for that, boosting their kitty. Unfortunately for them a new
season came around and they got shoved to the back burner in favour of the
Grunts. They'll have to wait until their turn comes around again. Even if I
bought her a business I would not let my sims go there. The items are always
more expensive than going to a normal store, particularly clothing. Every
item is whatever you set the price at so whether it's underwear or formal,
it all costs the same. Cheap formal and expensive underwear, I guess.

If she has some floating cash try buying and selling the most expensive
piece of real estate she can and see what happens. You may even want to do
this to gain the want. Earn 100,000 has got to be one of the easiest to
acheive if the Sim already has money.

Does money earned by the spouse or other family members count toward that
lifetime want, though? I didn't think it did. It has to be personally
earned. Money harvested from money trees counts, though, provided Circe is
the one who harvests them.

Both Loki and Circe got the memories and at about the same time (going by
the surrounding memories in SimPE). But spouse's earning power may have
nothing to do with it, you're right.

I might try what Madame Mim suggested - buying expensive real estate, then
selling it. Circe and Loki just need to go to work a few more times to build
up their funds. They're down to about 5K after the resurrection spree at
their house yesterday!

No it doesn't. The Sim has to do it themself. I have my Sims with that
desire be the ones who sell the paintings of the household. Get everyone up
to 10 creativity and it goes fast. Of course the other Sims are basically in
a sweatshop but oh well.
