Ooh, that sounds useful, I'll have a look into that one. I do have a fair
idea what my jewelcrafter does and doesn't know, and mostly what my
leatherworker knows, but with two tailors I never know if one or both knows
a recipe, and as for alchemy... no idea unless it's a recipe I actually
use, and there's not many of those Wink

My problem is seeing all these recipes that are probably too high for
the toons to learn, but if it's not too much higher, would be worth
getting while I was there. But I don't want to have a pile of recipes
taking up inv space for ever and ever because it's taking a while to
level the toons high enough.

Hehe yeah, luckily most of my crafters have high skill already
(LW/tailoring/alch/cooking 375, enchanting about 335), so that's not such
an issue for me, my blacksmith has about 6 recipes in the bank though, and
that's just drops from my alts! Just installed the mod btw, looks like
exactly what I was needing; I tested it by browsing the Horde AH, and
seeing what was and wasn't learnable; even spotted a couple of cooking
recipes I don't appear to know and placed bids... oh dear, I can forsee
much use of the goblin AH now Smile

And I noticed it appears to say what level the toon is in a particular
skill, which I do like, as it'll give an idea at least of whether the
toon is likely to be able to get skill ups from a recipe, so is worth
getting for them.

Now I just need a recipe book that lets you know if an item is useable
in any known recipes.

Reroll Horde and enjoy the scenic beauty and convenience of Thunder
Bluff! Bank, auction house, forge, and inn are all colocated for
maximum efficiency in *your* modern lifestyle. Unspoiled vistas
(rumors of devastation by the Venture Co. and dwarven archaelogists
are entirely unfounded!) and yet all the conveniences you could ask
for are within easy walking distance. Dad can pow-wow with his
buddies on Hunter's Rise, while Mom can enjoy shopping for some
flowers or unique leather goods among the many shops on Center Rise.
Or both can enjoy the crystal clear hot springs beneath Spirit Rise!
Get the kids an adorable praire dog pet, and then revel in tales from
the Spirit World from Cairn Bloodhoof or ArchDruid Runetotem. Maybe
if they've been bad, old Maggotha will straighten them up! Gardeners,
you'll love to get your hands dirty on Elder Rise. One thing is
clear, for family living of wholesomeness and convenience, Thunder
Bluff is without equal among the cities of Azeroth. Come on up, we've
been expecting *you*!

If there's any doubt about whether the item is usable/desirable for
another character I just log them in and go look at the item on the
AH. I can either mail them the money to buy it themselves or fi
soemthing for future use I can just log my banker again and have him
buy and stow it.

Generally all auctionable items go to the banker. The money made is
held by the banker and mailed as necessary. Non-bankers also keep
their own money, and usually that's the majority of my gold. But long
ago I found it much simpler to treat the banker as a common pool from
which all my characters could draw. Keeping everyone separate was too
much hassle.

Haha, I only play on my own server, so 20 will be my max Wink Got 15 at the
moment, though three are lowbie Horde not played much, 3 are bankers and
one is a placeholder just holding a name until I upgrade the 2nd account to
TBC (want to make a Draenei but can't on a non-upgraded account Wink)
