I have played OFP regularly since it first came out. I couldn't wait to see the sucessor so I purchased the german version. It was $52 US from boutique.gamesplanet.com I had no problem with the purchase and the game is fun. I found that reducing some video controls and adding ram to get 2 gigs solved the jerky problems in the graphics. Probably will need to get a new rig in a year or so to really enjoy the full potential of the game.(It does require a lot of computing power) As peppa indicated, the game needs some tweaking to make it perfect, but so did OFP when it first came out. I like that it plays very much like OFP with improvements so you can intuit commands even if you don't know german. The unofficial english patch, I think I used .08, takes care of the language issues. I am still jumping back to OFP about half the time because it has so many mods and addons. I really enjoy the WWII stuff and it may be awhile before modders make something for ArmA. If you are not an OFP fanatic, however, you may want to wait for the US release. They should have addressed most of the "bugs" by then.
