It still amazes me the amount of people that would rather constantly
take the time to not only download, but then try to get the burning
right on DC images when the games are readily available for 5 whole
dollars...

Which is quite easy to explain, actually...
The OP is from Germany (well, I assume he is, according to his mail
address...). There's a verb in German called "bekommen", which means
"to get".
There's also a verb "kommen", which means "to come".
So, many German speakers get the brilliant idea that "become" means
the same as "to get"

Heheh, it's true it's true. But thanks for reminding me of German,
I've get less than three weeks before I have to go back to that Nazi of
a professor and learn more about dative case, which I barely learned
enough of to pass the final (apparently).

What, from EBay? I've made a few 'finds' at pawnshops, like Sega Smash Pack,
Spiderman, and Skies of Arcadia less manual. But it's extremely hit and
miss, even knowing where to look in a nearby city. I support his downloading
images; the good and unusal ones are scarce and getting scarcer.I'm still
lookiing for Record of Lodross, Maken X, King of Fighters, mostly.

Not that I condone it, but DC games are a lot rarer in Europe, though there
is always eBay.

I was in the USA a few days ago and I'm amazed how cheap second-hand games
are!

I can imagine, since half the class are native speakers and didn't know
either.

Yup, Texas actually. Several of the other people in class grew up in
Germany and managed to get along without much working knowledge of the
German language, technically. The manage to get by the tests with A's
with little effort as well, even though I know they hadn't studied the
grammar as much as I had.
