I can recommend several: The First and Second Chronicles of Thomas
Covenant are a good read. The second chronicles are a bit heavy but a
13 year old would likely do ok. The Myth series by Robert Lynn Asprin
is very good. I really loved the Ender Series and Treason by O.S.
Card, but you said you have already read those. If you are a bit
mature, you can try any of the Short Fiction of Harlan Ellison or
Isaac Asimov, but they are more sci-fi than fantasy as it appears you
are drawn to. One other recommendation would be The Dark Tower series
by Stephen King... it crosses over into many genres but it a great
series (though it ends somewhat predictably) but is still a great
read. There is also a book that Stephen King and Peter Straub
collaborated on, I can't recall the title at the moment, but it was
really terrific... I read it about 25 years ago, so the memory is a
bit sketchy. Good luck. Oh, one last recommendation: The Chronicles of
Narnia... my favorites.
