How stupid it may be but here it comes, i normally play games with my pc,
but i wanted something cheap and good so the nintendo 64 was my option
because years ago i played it by a friend and i was amazed by the graphics
(mario 64).I use it with my girlfriend so we can play in the livingroom.

But here it comes, i bought 007 golden eye but how can i store the levels
so that i can continue later.I bought the game by Cash Converters because
really i don't want to spend much money on the system.

Somebody knows the answer???

IIRC the game might save progress to the game directly on the cart. If it
does not then you need to get a N64 memory card that fits into the slot on
the controller. I do not remember if the game auto saves or you have
select it from the menu (after pressing start).

Snip

Every time you complete a level it is automatically saved onto the GoldenEye
cartridge itself, and you are then allowed to go to the later levels at
higher difficulty settings. It all works well, but remember not to power off
immediately after completing a level as the N64 will be writing to the game
pak.

Memory card is the answer, probably at Cash Converters? They may have some N64
accessories lying around? Or similar places?
Some game carts do have a memory save on them, but I'll guess GE doesn't?
You can play N64 games on a PC adequately, if your PC is fast enough?
Around at least 600MHz with a decent graphics card.

hmmm you must not of tried to find this but ok ill tell you....

if you look under your N64 controler you will find a slot that is empty. if you want to save levels you must first purchase a memory card ( not what you think, it isnt like ps2 or gamecube cards) it is a blocky chunk of plastic that can save up to i think about 25mb and thats it. you should be able to find these at any game trader or game store.

hope i helped .
