If you could go back and change ONE engineering thing (the way something
was designed), what would it be?
I was tempted to say the types of RAM Williams uses on their games, but
I think I'll settle on how all of the various manufacturers mounted the
batteries on their PCBs (ones that typically have acid damage, like
Omega Race or anything early Williams).

Single board for every game possible....and remove all ribbon
cables...especially the MCR welfare types.

I'd put casters on all games and beef up the levelers. Would be great if
there was no such thing as "drag damage".

I'm not sure why but this totally reminds me of the movie Blue Streak
where Martin Lawrence is like "I'm a Federale"
Or was I the only one to see that movie??? Anyone... Ok I got

I second the battery nightmare. Think of all the WMS games, the pinball
machines, stupid Pole boards and who knows how much else could have been
saved if they didnt have that stupid battery on the board.
But, when they built these things way back when they figured they would be
around for 2-3 years tops so to them the battery wasn't even a thought.
