arcade os 2.46 problems

I have an arcade os sytem that was moved to a new cabinet and I used a
new jpac interface and Im having 2 problems with my installation.
Certain games will not add credits without going into the keys and
adding a button designated to add credits. Works fine until you go to
menu and load game again. Then I have to repeat the procedure again.
Any way to make the changes stick without repeating the procedure
every time? Also many of the games begin to roll when loaded.
Horizontal hold has to be adjusted. Can this problem be solved?Thanks

Could it be that you have the file/s that store the key information set
to read only?
