Hi all,

I have to announce everything about the action I am attempting. Do I
have to name the crypt in the uncontrolled region when playing Govern
the Unaligned superior? I think the answer is no, but am wondering if
the name of crypt would count as 'everything about the action'.

If the answer is yes, it means I have been playing the card wrongly
since I started playing VTES like 4 or 5 years ago.

thx!

Now I am getting the distinction wheather you must announce the target
by name or not. Like below...

<by name: things you have freedom to check at all time except when
you are actively trying to stall>
card from your hand
card in ready and topor region
card in ash heap

<not by name: mostly things you don't have freedom to check out
unless otherwise noted>
card from other meth's hand
card in library or crypt
*card in uncontrolled region

I had this little doubt about the uncontrolled crypts because you can
check it all time, but the answer is given.

You have to indicate which crypt card in your uncontrolled region is the
target. Usually by pointing to it. You don't have to name the vampire,
though. Or say it's capacity. or anything that might identify it.

As far as I can tell, you don't really ever have to designate a target
by name, unless a card (like Gramle) says so. You could always say,
"I'm going to rush that vampire over there" and point. Or, "This
vampire (point at vamp) is going to use this equipment (point at
Sargon Fragment), to get this card (pull out card and show it to
people) out of my ashheap." Most of the time, it's easier to use
names. Sometimes, as in the case with non-unique vampires, simply
saying a name won't be enough, and you'll have to indicate which
instance of a particular card you are targetting.
