As far as I can tell, you don't really ever have to designate a target
by name, unless a card (like Gramle) says so. You could always say,
"I'm going to rush that vampire over there" and point. Or, "This
vampire (point at vamp) is going to use this equipment (point at
Sargon Fragment), to get this card (pull out card and show it to
people) out of my ashheap." Most of the time, it's easier to use
names. Sometimes, as in the case with non-unique vampires, simply
saying a name won't be enough, and you'll have to indicate which
instance of a particular card you are targetting.
