| I have started playing my fist Horde character and it seems like there are
not nearly as many quest. Mainly I am talking about Level 20-30. As
Alliance I had Duskwood which had tons of quest and also Wetlands. Where
are the Horde quest for Level 20-30? Note, There are a few in Teran Mills,
but where else? I am on a PvP server, if that matters.

They have.
The quest xp is low on horde side up to the 40's - where the horde gets
a lot of the neutral quests that are similar in number to what the
alliance has from the start (you can fill your quest log easily in
Stranglethorn Vale, but on a PVP server it's suicidal).
in the late 45-50s the horde has a huge quest XP boost in the
hinterlands (15 quests in one town - even the Barrens don't have that
much) and one quest in Azshara that is worth about 35k xp.
I heard the alliance had a similar quest from outer space in the
Blasted Lands though, have yet to confirm this.
Overall the horde gets the shaft - about 20% less horde specific quests
than alliance-specific.
level 20-30 is a pain horde side, you do your 5 quests in Tarren Mill,
then go do your 10 quests in Ashenvale, then your 4 quests in
Stonetalon, then do your 8 quests in Thousand Needles... then at last
you get your easy access to instances (Gnomeregan, Razorfen Kraul) -
that is after all the advantage of being horde.
Remember one thing though: your quest rewards are on average much
better than the alliance's (blues instead of greens). >> Stay informed about: Do alliance have more quest than the horde? |

Barrens (low 20s), Stonetalon (low to mid 20s), Hillsbrad (right through
the 20s), and Thousand Needles (mid 20s to low 30s). Alliance do have a bit
more choice around that level, but I think Horde get better options in the
40s so it evens out over time.
If you're on a PVP server you're probably better to avoid Hillsbrad; I'm on
a PVE server and occasionally war breaks out there, and when I was on a PVP
server with my first character it was a nightmare zone; flying there and
seeing an enormous battle taking over the whole town isn't very reassuring
when you only want to quest
I think the other zones I mentioned should be a lot quieter though;
Alliance can get some of the low 30s quests in Thousand Needles (on the
Shimmering Flats) but I doubt many bother on PVP servers, as it's more a
Horde dominated zone. On PVE servers I always do those quests though, great

On the contrary - I play Alliance on a PvP server and I *always* clean
out the Thousand Needles quests, precisely because that area is a rich
source of lower level Horde! >> Stay informed about: Do alliance have more quest than the horde? |

I think the worst part is the 30-40 period, especially if one doesn't
want to spend most of the time in SM.

Yeah, that level range is so much easier on Horde, I couldn't believe it
when I took my priest up through it. My rogue got most of his late 40s exp
from grinding furbolgs - ok I wanted the rep anyway but there wasn't
actually anything else to do.

If we do I haven't found it, wasn't aware we really had any quests there at
all tbh, aside from stuff involving lvl 60 elites that I really couldn't be
bothered with
>Remember one thing though: your quest rewards are on average much

Yeah, those Hinterlands quests have insanely good rewards for non-instance
ones. I'd still use Rune of the Guard Captain on my rogue now and it's
*green* (badly coloured IMHO, should be blue, especially for a lvl 50 quest
reward!) Alliance have nothing that compares to that random Ashenvale quest
with blue rewards, either.

On my second character I almost completely avoided STV because I had such
an annoying time doing the quests (and I did all of them, I love the
goblins) with my paladin the first time. I decided to give it another go
with my rogue, and I had an incredibly good time doing them. Besides being
able to do search and destroy missions on bosses (I killed Kurzen solo at
level 40), I did a lot of horde 'crowd control' - I can't count how many
players I sapped while they were stalking someone else. *
