Hello,

I'm hammering along in Duskwood doing the lengthy quest regarding
Sven's Farm and his book. We'll, I find the book and take it to
Jitters in the cemetry and I don't have the book! I believe I
probably destroyed it trying to make room in my inventory for
something stupid like a crunchy spider legs. Anyway, I attempted to
go back to his farm to the loose dirt to see if another book was
created. No dice. My question. Can I restart the quest from
scratch? I know it's a pain but I really want to see it out
considering I had already invested so much time and effort.

Thanks

yarbles

Before you do that, you might try something else.

Check your quest log. If the quest says you have the book, but its
not in your bags, then check your bank. I have done this before,
accidently put a quest item in the bank. My quest log says the quest
is complete and that I have all the necessary items, but when I looked
in my bags they weren't there. Took me a while to think to check the
bank.

Abandon the quest, pick it up again and go check the dirt mound

Abandon the step of the quest you're on, and then go back to the person who
gave you that step. They'll give you a replacement item along with it,
almost always. You will not have to start the whole questline from scratch.
In fact, you can never do that on ANY questline. *
