YASD, Trollish healer, cup, decided to do the PC for a lawful boost
(and experience.) First level I found a river. No big problem, I
heal fast even though I can't swim. sure enough, I make it across. I
did the entire cave (killing the hive too,) and brought the puppy
back up. however, my healer who now had three times as much health as
the first time, died on the crossing of the river. Damn you

I can tell from experience that praying while in the river could help
you.
A full healing or two, with luck even three, instead of dying?
