Rather than adding new information, this is a proposal on how to make
the guidebook easier to use. IMO the section on starting skills should
be ordered by skill instead of race and class. When I use this table it
is because I want to create a character with specific abilities (e.g. a
monk with gemology), and the proposed ordering is more useful for this.
I also feel it is unnecessary to list common starting skills (like
haggling) as also race/class dependant. The new table could then be
merged with the sections on acquiring skills to make a complete list on
how to obtain skills.

All skills can be gained at random from potions and scrolls of
education. All skills can be wished for unless otherwise specified.
Bards start with a random selection of skills and can gain additional
random skills as a class power.
