YACD: advice for DECj with lots of books

I've got a level 12 Dark Elf Conjurer which is one of my best games
yet, thanks to having found a *TON* of books, only two of them gifts
from Vehumet (with Selective Amnesia among them), and getting the
"immune to poison" mutation with the only bad mutation (thus far) being
-1 to INT. The only negative thing thus far was my stash of food
disappearing (I think it got eaten by a jelly), leaving me with only a
meat ration and a royal jelly (though the poison immunity greatly
expands the number of corpses I can eat). I've found the Lair and have
gone down to level 7. Haven't found the Orchish Mines yet; I think
they're on level 9, the only level from 6 to 11 I haven't mapped out
because of an Unseen Horror.

Well, so much for *that* game. I learned Dig and Magic Mapping, which
was great for clearing out the Orc Mines, and also helped me find and
get to the entrance to the Swamp. Iskenderun's Mystic Blast did more
damage than Stone Arrow, and never seemed to miss, so un-learned Stone
Arrow and learnt Bolt of Iron, which was really nice. Cleared out the
Snake Pit, got my first rune ever, was in the process of clearing out
the Swamp, and when teleporting away from a hydra because of 0 MP, I
teleported straight into the middle of the Rune Vault; oops. Have to
remember to never do *that* again.

Also, I had this un-ID'd ring in inventory:

e - the ring of Dyqiju
(You found it on level 2 of the Swamp)
This ring increases the ability of its wearer to use magical spells.
It affects your strength (+4).
It affects your intelligence (+4).
It affects your dexterity (-2).
It partially protects you from negative energy.
It protects you from magic.
It makes you much more stealthy.

Yup, teleportation on an uncleared level is a frequent temptation, and
often a deadly one.

-Crawl- YACD DECj spell problems - So, I have a DECj with spell problems. I haven't found the right books so far (Except a lucky early find of a Book of Flames, which was *very* nice): No Selective Amnesia, and worse - no Deflect Missiles. I have Repel Missiles, but without DM I fear..
