XBOX Live question?? Help.

I wanna get XBOX LIVE . My apartment already has cable included with the
rent. Can I just go buy a Cable Modem at Office Depot and hook it up to
my 360? Or do I have to go through the cable company and get there
modem. Since the cable is included in the rent , its not in my name, Id
rather just plug in my own modem since IM gonna be paying for XBOX live
Anybody now if this is possible??? Thanx for ya help.

Cable TV != Cable modem. You can have one and not the other. Check
with your apartment and/or your cable company before you spend any
money.

But yes, if you have cable internet turned on you can buy your own
cable modem and hook it up.
