So, my X3 copy is ordered and will arrive some time next week. Judging by
my X2 experience with keyboard/mouse and a cheap gamepad, I think I should
probably look for a decent joystick for a better experience. It's been
many, many years since I last bought a joystick, so I have no idea what's
out there and what's good.

One of the X3 reviews recommend a Saitek Cyborg. Is this thing any good?
Can anyone recommend it? I'm open for other suggestions and tips, too.
Ideally, I'd prefer not to spend much more than roughly 50 Euro / $65 USD.

M.

My Sidwinder 2 FF is great. The cyborg seems to have alot of people
who like it . Dont think you can go wrong. Not sure how many types
they have though.

I'm using a Cyborg with X3 (great for left-handers), but the hat switch
doesn't work for viewing.

I use a saitek X52 with X2 and its superb, cant' tell it it'll be ok with X3
until i play it, but it is programmable so i'd say it'd be ok.
